Reprise Reveal- Reprise Academy Overview

Reveal is an extension-based product offering designed for the live demo use case. Reveal runs on-top of an existing environment, but provides the benefit of being able to modify text, images, and other site content to let you craft the ideal demo story without the time & effort that goes into modifying a demo environment.

Reveal is created to work with our entire platform offerings. Use this Reveal Overview as a high level guide.  You can find more information on Reveal and the topics discussed below in our Reprise Academy training course: Reprise Reveal

Note: You may not have access to the Reprise Reveal platform depending on your subscription. Please consult with your CSM if you’re not sure before continuing with this course.

Installing and Launching the Extension
The extension will be installed via a link from your Reprise platform.

Once the extension is installed, navigate to the start of the demo you want to capture. Select “New demo” and give your demo a name. From here you’re ready to start editing.

Edit vs Navigate

You’ll notice that there are two options at the top of your screen, Navigate or Edit. You can toggle between navigating through your app and editing content easily. You'll use Edit while preparing for your demo and review how you'll present it and use Navigate to move around the page while you're deciding what customizations to make to your demo. When editing, visual feedback appears when you hover to show edits and selected elements.  All editing occurs within the extension.

Text Editing

Editing text is as simple as selecting an element and choosing replacement text.

A list of added edits appears for you to change. By default, all edits are ‘Replace All’ simplifying the editing process. This means that this change will take place across your replay. You can toggle off this replace all button if you only want to edit this text in one place instead of everywhere.

Image Replacement

Replacing images is as simple as clicking on an element and selecting a file (either from disk or an existing asset library). Again you can either toggle on or off the replace all button.

You will be asked to either upload a new image or choose from your asset library. When uploading a new image, you will have the option to save it to your asset library for future use. A shared asset library allows you to save a commonly-used image and re-use it across multiple demos.

Sharing Demos

Demos can be shared across an account, allowing reps or sales team members to build a ‘base’ demo available to others.

Right next to my demos, you will see "Shared Demos" which will show all demos that are shared with you and available for use across an account.

Playing Demos

Playing a demo is as simple as clicking “play”. Edits made to the demo automatically apply and you can proceed with your demo flow. To stop playing, click on the extension where you'll see a purple icon to signal that it's playing, and press "Stop Demo".
