What is the AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant is a chat-based tool in Data Studio that enables you to create or edit datasets quickly and efficiently. Once finalized, these datasets can be injected directly into your demo environments using Reveal. By simplifying complex data editing and generation tasks, the AI Assistant helps you deliver customized, professional demos with ease.
⚠️ Please do not input Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or sensitive customer data into the AI Assistant chat box. The AI Assistant is designed for demo customization, and inputting sensitive information may violate privacy policies. Instead, use anonymized or placeholder data wherever possible.
How to Use the AI Assistant
Before starting, you'll be prompted to paste your OpenAI API key to establish the connection.

Select the Dataset
Begin by opening the dataset you want to customize in Data Studio. -
Choose the Widget
Identify the specific widget you’d like to edit within your demo’s product area, such as a table, chart, or graph. -
Activate the AI Assistant
Click the AI Assistant button. A chat box will appear for you to input your request. -
Provide Instructions
Type your instructions into the chat box. Be as specific as possible about the changes you want to make. For example:- "Translate all text in the 'description' column to English."

Save Changes
Once the AI Assistant has completed the edits, press Done and the Save Data button to save the modified dataset. -
Inject the Dataset
