The Reprise Extension brings everything you do in Reprise into a single browser extension. Launch demos, capture screens, set up data injection, and work with a built-in AI assistant — all from one place, without switching between tools or going back to the Reprise web app.

What you can do with it
Launch all three Reprise product types
From the extension's library tab, you can browse and launch any of your Reprise assets directly on a live site:
- Product Tours — open and present your HTML product tours.
- Data Injection — apply datasets to inject data into a live application.
- Clones — open and present your cloned experiences.
Everything lives in one library view, so you can find what you need and launch it without switching tools.
Capture Product Tours and Data Injection
The extension can capture two product types directly from the live application you're working in:
- Product Tour capture — capture screens from a live site to build or add to a Product Tour. You can capture a single screen or a series of screens.
- Data Injection setup — inspect the data on a page and set up data injection against the live application.
Note: Clones can be launched from the extension but are captured using your Reprise authoring tools. See What's supported below.
Work with the built-in AI assistant
The extension includes an AI assistant you can chat with to do your work for you. For example, you can ask it to:
- Capture a set of screens on the current page for a Product Tour.
- Set up data injection on a specific page.
- Help you build and adjust demos as you go.
Two things make the assistant especially convenient:
- No setup or API key required. The assistant is powered by Reprise's own AI, so you don't need to bring or configure your own key to use it.
- It has Reprise's full toolset. The assistant has access to the same broad set of Reprise actions (100+ tools) that power the Reprise agent, so it can carry out real tasks in Reprise — not just answer questions.
Drive the extension from an AI agent (MCP)
For teams using the Reprise MCP, the extension can be controlled by AI agents. An MCP-compatible client (such as Claude) can operate the extension on your behalf — for example, navigating to a page and capturing screens automatically — so more of the demo-building workflow can be automated end to end.
The side panel
The extension opens in your browser's side panel rather than as a floating window on top of the page you're working in. It stays in a consistent, out-of-the-way spot and never covers the app you're demoing or capturing, so you can work in the live application and the extension side by side.
The panel also handles large libraries smoothly. If your Reprise library contains a large number of demos, tours, and datasets — common for large teams and enterprise accounts — it loads and scrolls without slowing down.
How to get started
- Install the Reprise extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Sign in with your Reprise account.
- Open the extension from your browser's side panel to see your library, launch assets, capture, and chat with the assistant.
Your existing demos, tours, and datasets are all available immediately — the extension connects to the same Reprise library you already use.

A couple of capture options are handled outside the extension today:
- Clone capture — you can launch clones from the extension; clones are captured using your Reprise authoring tools.
- Continuous capture — for workflows that rely on continuous capture, use your Reprise capture tools.
Frequently asked questions
Will my existing demos, tours, and datasets work in the extension? Yes. The extension connects to the same Reprise library, so everything you've already built is available to launch and edit.
Do I need my own AI API key to use the assistant? No. The built-in assistant uses Reprise's own AI, so there's nothing to configure on your end.
Where does the extension appear in my browser? In the browser's side panel, so it sits alongside the page you're working in rather than on top of it.
