Variables are dynamic elements that can be replaced at link creation. You can either create a new variable or apply an existing variable to an element. Follow the instructions below to create a new date variable:

1. Select the date element that you would like to add a variable to

2. Press the T icon and then select the variable icon that appears

3. Select the Create Variable tab and give your variable a name that can be easily remembered for future use

4. Change the Variable Type to Date

5. Choose your Replace with Date

6. Choose your Display format

7. Press Save

8. A preview of your variable will show up beneath the element when it's selected for you to edit it
