When editing with the HTML Editor, you can use our Clone Environment Embed plugin to insert a published replicate demo within a replay screen. This will allow for the ability to add interactive moments within your guided demo flow, or add a sandbox-like experience to a tour or leave-behind.
Plugins allow you to add editing tools on an as needed basis to keep the HTML Editor as easy to use as possible. If you would like to add this plugin to your Editor, open a support ticket via support@reprise.com.
Follow the instructions below to use the Clone Environment Embed plugin:
- Open the Editor, and navigate to a screen where you would like to embed a replicate demo.
- Select an element within the screen where you want to embed the demo.
- (Optional) You can also open the Navigator tab, and select the body. This will replace the full contents of the screen with the replicate demo.
- Once the element is selected, the editor context menu will pop up and you can then click on the overflow button and select the Clone Environment option.
- When the Clone Environment panel opens, enter the full URL to the replicate demo within the input field. Here is an example of a valid URL: https://app.getreprise.com/ac/r3pl1d/.
- Click on the Save button.
- In order to update the URL or delete the replicate, re-select the element and save your new changes or click on the delete button.
