HTML Editor- Blur Plugin

When editing with the HTML Editor, you can use our Blur plugin to obfuscate an element within a screen. This will allow for the ability to quickly obscure content like an API key or other forms of PII from your live demo audience without completely removing the element from the screen.

Plugins allow you to add editing tools on an as needed basis to keep the HTML Editor as easy to use as possible. If you would like to add this plugin to your Editor, open a support ticket via support@reprise.com.

Follow the instructions below to use the Blur plugin:

  1. Open the Editor, and navigate to a screen where you would like to blur an element.

  2. Select an element within the screen that you would like to blur.

  3. Once the element is selected, the editor context menu will pop up and you can then click on the overflow button, and then click on the Blur button.

  4. This will automatically blur the element in the Editor view.

  5. To unblur, select the element again by clicking on it or the droplet icon, and then click the Unblur button from the overflow menu.

Applying a blur effect does not change or anonymize the text content of an element. This plugin is more suitable for live demonstrations where the link to the replay is not shared with the viewers.
