SAML SSO

Supported Features:

The Reprise SAML integration currently supports Service Provider-Initiated SSO utilizing SAML
2.0. A person accessing the Reprise application will initiate SSO from the Reprise login page,
https://app.getreprise.com/auth/login/, where they will enter in an email address for their account. The
authentication process will then finish the authentication by redirecting to the Customer’s SSO
Identity Provider to authenticate their credentials. Upon successful authentication, the user will
be redirected back to the Reprise application and allowed to access the Reprise content
associated with their account.

Configuration Steps:

1. Contact the Reprise Support team at support@reprise.com and request to have SAML
2.0 enabled for your Client.

2. Provide Reprise Support with the following information to ensure correct configuration for
your client:

  • Entity ID of the Identity Provider. This is typically in the form of a qualified URL-
    https://www..com/
  • SSO URL to initiate SAML SSO. For example,
    https://www.example.com/sso/login/

  • X.509 Public Certificate for the Identity Provider. Typically this is sent as a file,
but the certificate’s raw base64 contents can be sent as well.

  • Reprise Support will work with the build team to configure and deploy the integration,
and a confirmation email will be sent with a Relay State value and the X.509 Public
Certificate for Reprise. These details will be used for configuration in Step 4 below.

3. Configure your Identity Provider with the following SAML 2.0 details for integration with
Reprise:

  • Entity ID - https://app.getreprise.com/

  • Reply URL (sometimes referred to as the Assertion Consumer Service URL or
    ACS URL) - https://app.getreprise.com/auth/complete/saml/

  • Relay State - A value configured for your Client that Reprise uses to complete
the authentication process. Support will provide you with this value after Step 2 is
    completed.

  • X.509 Public Certificate for Reprise - This will be sent as a file or the raw
base64 content, depending on your preference, after Step 2 is completed.

  • Required SAML Attributes - Reprise requires the following attributes to be
configured to be sent in the SAML response. Typically these need to be mapped
from the format defined in the SSO implementation to these below:

    ■ email - e.g. user.email
    ■ first_name - e.g. user.firstName
    ■ last_name- e.g. user.lastName

4. Email the Reprise Support representative with a confirmation of configuration and
deployment.

5. Reprise Support will work with your team to confirm a full end to end integration with a
user from your Client.

6. Done!

Following successful completion, users will be able to login to Reprise at
https://login.reprise.com/ and will be redirected to authenticate using your provided SSO Identity
Provider.
