AI Data Studio Overview

What's new (May 2026)

The Data Injection editor (Data Studio) got a major refresh. Setting up datasets is faster, navigation is clearer, and there's a new transpose mode for tables that need to display data sideways.

  • Transpose display modes — flip a table's display between rows and columns per injection point, without restructuring your data.
  • Simplified left nav — the editor's left panel now mirrors the Dataset → Source → Value structure for clearer orientation.
  • Tabbed injection points — injection points now appear as tabs across the top, making it faster to switch between them.
  • Renamed and clarified injection points — clearer labels make it easier to identify what each injection point controls.
  • Atomic dataset + source creation — create a dataset and its first source in one step instead of multiple round-trips.
  • Clearer CTAs for Adapters and the AI Dataset Assistant — find the right tool faster.

You can also configure Data Injection from your AI client via the Reprise MCP — point an AI assistant at a page and have it wire up the dataset for you.

Data Studio is a powerful feature set designed to help you manipulate and customize the data in your demos. Whether you're building demos for different verticals, filling an empty demo environment with relevant data, or tailoring large datasets for specific use cases, Data Studio allows you to inject the right data consistently and at scale.

With Data Studio, you can:

  • Create custom datasets that update charts, tables, and graphs automatically.
  • Quickly fill empty demo environments or product areas with the exact data you need, eliminating the time spent manually populating fields.
  • Tailor your demos to specific industries, regions, or customer needs.
  • Manage data directly within the demo environment, ensuring a seamless experience every time.

In this article, we’ll cover the basics of setting up product areas, editing data, and using Data Studio with Data Injection. These features will allow you to efficiently personalize your demos, ensuring that your data tells the right story.
