Simulating Your App's Loading Sequence with Compound Actions
You can create a realistic loading experience in your demo using compound actions. Follow the steps below to learn how!
What You'll Need:
- A start screen
- A loading screen (GIF or captured screen)
- A compound action
Steps to Set Up a Loading Sequence:
- Create a compound action on a guide or an element within your start screen.
- Set the compound action to:
- Navigate to your loading screen
- Add a delay for the desired duration
- Continue to the next step in your demo
- Your loading screen can be:
- A GIF uploaded as a screen
- A screen capture taken during your app’s actual loading animation
Adding Multiple Loading Screens
If your app has a progress bar or multiple loading states, you can simulate this by capturing different stages of the loading sequence. Then, within your compound action, set delays between each screen transition to create a smooth, realistic effect.
