HTML Environment - Presenter Notes

Using Presenter Notes in HTML Environment

Presenter Notes allow you to add private notes to each screen in a HTML Environment and launch your demo in Presenter Mode, making it easier to guide live demos, presentations, or walkthroughs without your audience seeing your notes.

This feature is especially useful for sales calls, webinars, and internal enablement sessions where you want structured talking points as you move through a demo.

Requirements

To launch a HTML Environment in Presenter Mode, you must have one of the following Reprise licenses:

  • Presenter license

  • Builder license

⚠️ Viewers without a Presenter or Builder license will not see the option to launch with Presenter Notes.

Adding Presenter Notes

  1. Open a HTML Environment in the HTML Editor.

  2. Navigate to the screen you want to add notes to.

  3. Click the Presenter Notes button to open the Presenter Notes panel.

  4. Enter your notes for the selected screen.

Each screen has its own dedicated notes panel, allowing you to add different talking points as you move through the demo.

Formatting Options

The Presenter Notes editor includes a toolbar similar to the Guide editor, allowing you to:

  • Apply text formatting (bold, lists, etc.)

  • Preserve formatting as you move between screens

Publishing Your HTML Environment

Once you’ve added your Presenter Notes:

  1. Click Publish to publish your HTML Environment.

  2. After publishing, locate the Launch button.

  3. Click the caret (▼) next to Launch to reveal additional options.

  4. Select Launch with Presenter Notes.

Launching in Presenter Mode

When you launch with Presenter Notes enabled:

  • Your demo opens in a headless presenter view that only you can see.

  • You can:

    • Navigate between screens and steps

    • Jump directly to specific screens

    • View the corresponding presenter notes for each screen

  • Restart the demo at any time during the session

💡 Tip: Many browsers block pop-ups by default. If Presenter Mode does not launch, make sure pop-ups are enabled for Reprise in your browser settings.

What Your Audience Sees

  • Your audience sees only the demo itself

  • Presenter Notes and navigation controls remain hidden from viewers

  • This ensures a clean, distraction-free presentation experience

Summary

Presenter Notes help you stay organized and confident during live demos by keeping your talking points visible only to you. Just remember — a Presenter or Builder license is required to launch a HTML Environment in Presenter Mode.
