Reprise Connector to Marketo

Integration Overview

The Reprise-Marketo integration allows you to gate your product tour and leave-behind HTML Environments with your Marketo forms. Users that fill out your forms will be created as a contact in Marketo, and the screens they viewed during that session will appear as well.

How does the integration work?

  • You can gate specific HTML Environment links with your Marketo form
  • Viewers that fill out your forms will be created as a contact in Marketo
  • The screens that these viewers subsequently viewed in your HTML Environment will be linked to their Contact in Marketo as well
  • Our integration also allows for screen view tracking without gating with a form
    • These views will be anonymous

Installing the integration

  1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ in the left-hand sidebar of the Reprise app and then ‘Integrations’ at the top of the page:

  2. Click ‘Install’ and then ‘Connect’ on the Marketo integration card (if you do not see the integrations tab, contact your CSM to purchase access).
  3. You will be prompted to enter your Munchkin ID for the property you want to connect to Reprise
    • This can be found by logging into your Marketo account, navigating to the  ‘Admin’  and finding ‘Munchkin’ in the left side bar (the ID in this image is under the red box):

How do I add Marketo to a HTML Environment?

  1. Publish any draft (or republish) any HTML Environment you wish to use Marketo on
  2. At this point, your HTML Environment views will log as anonymous page views in Marketo. If you also want to gate a link with your Marketo form, click on the published HTML Environment.
  3. Navigate to ‘Edit Custom Link’ for the link you want to enable Marketo on:

  4. Toggle ‘Marketo Enabled’ to on:

  5. You will be prompted to enter the ‘Asset ID’ associated with your Marketo form
    • You can find your Asset ID after creating a form in Marketo and being taken to this page (the Asset ID is under the red box). If your form was previously created, find the Asset ID in the Design Studio Tab under details.

Marketo Form Tips

  1. We embed your Marketo form directly above a blurred image of your Reply. Your Marketo form can be as tall or wide as you want, but the form will only scroll vertically.
  2. The hex value (color) of the border around your Marketo form is 0x27292E. If you want your form to match the border color, feel free to use this value.
  3. The more custom CSS you add to the form the longer it will take to load the first time it is viewed. We hide the form until it is finished rendering, so if it does not appear immediately, wait for another second or two and it should be there.

Data Sent to Marketo

  1. All information the viewer entered into your Marketo form
  2. Date/Time of form fill
  3. Each screen of the HTML Environment the person viewed
  4. Date/time of each screen view

Note:

For non-iframed HTML Environments, the session data will be linked to the person who filled out the form. For iframed HTML Environments, you will see the form fill information in your account and anonymous session data.

What Analytics Can You Get from the Marketo Integration?

The Reprise-Marketo integration gives marketers insight into demo engagement directly within Marketo, helping teams connect form fills to high-intent behavior. Here’s a breakdown of the analytics you can expect:

  • Contact Attribution: When a viewer completes a Marketo-gated form on a HTML Environment, a new lead is created (or existing lead updated) in Marketo with their form data.

  • HTML Environment View Tracking: Each screen the viewer sees in the HTML Environment is logged and tied to that lead’s activity history, including:

    • Screen title (name of each screen viewed)

    • Date and time of each screen view

  • Form Submission Data: All data entered into the Marketo form—along with the timestamp of submission—is captured and added to the lead profile.

  • Anonymous Session Data: If you don’t gate the HTML Environment, screen views are still recorded in Marketo as anonymous interactions. These can later be associated with a lead if they convert elsewhere on your site.

  • Lead Scoring + Segmentation: Since screen views and form fills are added to each lead’s activity log, you can incorporate demo engagement into your lead scoring models, nurturing flows, and behavioral segmentation.

This integration gives you a clear picture of how prospects are interacting with your demos and where they’re spending time—enabling more personalized and timely follow-up.
