Clone Editor- Web Request Editing

Web requests within Clone Environment often control a ton of demo behavior including rendering of charts, images, tables, app interactivity, and more. Editing web requests directly will save you time and effort while building and unlock a more direct path toward customization such as editing chart data. Follow the instructions below to learn how to edit web requests. 

1. Navigate to the Configure tab in your demo

2. Select the web request drop-down to see available requests

3. Select a request to directly make edits. You're also able to edit origin, target, and content type to have more control over web request behavior.

4. When you are finished with your edits, press save

5. If you would like to revert your edit to the original web request, use the undo button that appears

6. For images, use the view tab to directly swap your image by selecting "Replace" and choosing your new image

7. For JSON code, utilize auto-formatting in the code editor. This makes it easier to parse and edit code that feeds tables and graphs.

8. Use the HAR file search and filter when uploading a web request to make it easier to find exactly what you need.

9. Use the Import Web Request button to transfer web requests between Clone Environment demos. This allows you to easily import a previously captured web request into the current demo, ensuring consistent functionality during recaptures.
