The Clone Environment Extension lets you capture and clone your application, making it simple to build interactive demos in Reprise. It also provides visibility into which requests are being captured and when, helping you get your app captured faster and more seamlessly.
Install the Extension
Go to the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.
Once installed, you’ll find it in your extensions.
Open the Extension
Navigate to the app you want to capture.
Right-click anywhere on the screen and select Inspect to open Developer Tools.
From the top menu, select Reprise Capture. Note: Leave the DevTools window docked to the app you're capturing. Undocking from the app will cause the extension not to work.
Capture with the Extension
Choose to create a new demo or add to an existing demo from your list of folders.
Enter a demo name.

Select the associated application.
This pulls in previously applied snippets and configurations, saving time and ensuring consistency across captures.
Select a folder to store your demo.
Click Start Capture at the top.
Navigate through your demo flow — your clicks will be recorded automatically.
Watch as your requests populate in real time.
Click Stop when you’ve completed your flow.
Review the summary of requests captured, events, and duration.
Choose to Preview your demo or select Edit Demo to open it in the Clone Editor.
